Gabrio Marchetti is Italian born but lived in the US for 20 years. After moving back to Italy at the age of 23, he got his MSc in Environmental Management and worked for the oil spill remediation department of the ENI Group at their headquarters in San Donato, Italy. After ENI, Gabrio was hired by CH2M HILL in Milano where he continued working in the environmental engineering/consulting field. In 2006, he was sent to Russia to perform a Phase II Environmental Impact Assessment for Alcoa and decided to stay in Russia working for CH2M HILL.

During his work in Moscow, he was a Project Manager on projects for clients such as 3M, John Deere, Kraft, Rohm and Haas, etc. and that’s where he gained good knowledge of how to do work in a complex yet very rewarding environment and market. In 2009, following the big crises that struck Russia, Gabrio resigned from CH2M HILL and together with a friend, started his own construction company Itatech which has successfully completed projects for Veco, Owens Corning, MARR, Brusnika, Halliburton, etc…
